Our advanced sterilisation techniques provide complete area decontamination to prevent or contain outbreaks of pathogens such as C. difficile, MRSA, VRE, Norovirus (winter vomiting bug) and other viruses, fungi and Healthcare Acquired Infections (HAI) and a broad spectrum of bioburden types.
We specialise in a ‘touch less’ method of decontamination (sometimes referred to as fogging). There is no residual moisture or smell and there are no health hazards or cross contamination risks such as are associated with wiping with traditional disinfectants and cloths. Whole areas become sterilised effectively killing up to 99.999% of spores (this is known as a Log6 reduction). Rooms are left odour free and are ready for re-occupation typically in around two and a half to three hours after starting the process.
We use the Glosairâ„¢ 400 system which is hospital grade equipment manufactured by ASP; a subsidiary of Johnson and Johnson. The effectiveness of Glosair has been demonstrated in many validated independent clinical field studies (list available on request) and has been proven by use in the NHS for over 8 years.
